Galveston County Daily News, Dec. 6, 2008 A small amount of legionella bacteria has been found in John Sealy Hospital's water supply. According to UTMB's Karen Sexton , "There is no reason to panic. We do not believe our patients are at risk." Numerous news outlets, including the Houston Chronicle, several Houston television stations and The Associated Press had their own versions of this report. Drs. C. Glen Mayhall and Joan Richardson also were featured in several of those reports.
