Ike-ravaged Galveston struggles to revive soggy oaks, downtown December 11, 2008 Bloomberg, Dec. 11, 2008 Hurricane Ike blew through Galveston in September, leaving a mess. The good news is that most of the architecture, one of the largest collections of historic buildings in the country, is still upright.
