About 50 people have signed up to tell members of a special University of Texas task force what they think about a consultant's recommendation to move most medical branch hospital operations to League City. Prospective speakers have until 5 p.m. today to sign up by e-mail for Friday's public hearing at Moody Gardens about the future of UTMB.
