The University of Texas System has requested a change of venue for a lawsuit accusing the system’s board of regents of violating the Texas Open Meetings Act. The lawsuit accuses the board of illegally deliberating mass layoffs at UTMB in November. UTMB’s Kay Sandor is a plaintiff in the lawsuit.
