Galveston Reads to have discussion today

Galveston County Daily News, March 25, 2009Galveston Reads will hold a panel discussion on the topic of "The Resilient Child" from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall at 502 Church St. Panel participants include UTMB's Dr. Dwight Wolf and Karen Smith. "The issues of what helps children be resilient to negative events that occur in childhood is important for our community given the economic adversity many of our children face and the natural disasters to which our community is not immune," Smith said.
