UTMB emergency room reopens
The reopening of UTMB's emergency room received extensive coverage from numerous media outlets. On Friday, July 31, the lead story on the 6 p.m. newscast on KTRK-TV (Ch.13) Houston was a report about the scheduled reopening of the ER. UTMB's Dr. Bill Mileski and Wanda Taylor, interim nurse manager in emergency services, were featured.
On Saturday morning, numerous members of the media covered the reopening. UTMB's Mike Hill and Mileski were interviewed. The media outlets included KPRC-TV (Ch. 2) Houston, KTRK-TV (Ch. 13) Houston, KIAH-TV (Ch. 39) Houston, KRIV-TV (Ch. 26) Houston (no video posted), KHOU-TV (Ch. 11) Houston (no video posted), Houston Chronicle and the Galveston County Daily News.
