Drs. Sally Robinson and Keith Bly, in their Keeping Kids Healthy column, write about how to help children deal with stress. They offer advice from a book, "A Parent's Guide to Building Resilience in Children and Teens: Giving your Child Roots and Wings," that provides methods for dealing with stress. "First, they suggest you figure out what the problem is and make it manageable. It's better not to ignore it, as the people who try to fix their problems are emotionally healthier.
