Ellen Fineout-Overholt, Jennifer Nitschmann, John Murray and Karen Weis were inducted into the UTMB nursing alumni hall of fame. Susan McConnell was presented posthumously the Betty Lee Evans Nursing Excellence Award. And several UTMB executives were honored for their leadership during Hurricane Ike. Honorees included Pamela Watson, Karen Sexton, David Marshall and Cheryl Day. (No link available.)
