UTMB's Dr. David Herndon is quoted in this article about Shriners delegates voting to reopen the burn treatment hospital for children in Galveston. "I'm immensely gratified. Very few hospitals can take care of the massive burns we can anywhere in the world," Herndon said. "This is vitally important to our area." Herndon also is quoted in the Galveston County Daily News. UTMB Drs. Jong Lee and Michael Jeschke were interviewed by KTRK-TV (Ch. 13, Houston). "I think we'll be back to where we were, probably better when we're finished rebuilding," said Lee.
