Rootenberg, a rare book specialist, will speak at 5:15 p.m. July 16, at Levin Hall about the importance of academic medical centers maintaining a library that includes volumes about the history of medicine as well as rare book collections. Rootenberg will focus his presentation on the Truman G. Blocker Jr. History of Medicine Collections in the Moody Medical Library at UTMB.
