UTMB Drs. Sally Robinson and Keith Bly, in their weekly Keeping Kids Healthy column, write about the TexCare Partnership that provides health insurance programs for children from birth to age 18. The group has three health insurance programs offered to uninsured children: The Children's Health Insurance Program, Medicaid and the Texas Healthy Kids Corp. "Each of these health plans offers a full range of coverage, including regular checkups, immunizations, prescription drugs, eyeglasses, lab tests, X-rays, hospital visits, dental care and mental health care - from a broad choice of doctors."
