UTMB students Ashley Grant and Amber Higgs have been named Schweitzer fellows. The Houston-Galveston Schweitzer Fellows Program, named in honor of medical humanitarian Dr. Albert Schweitzer, is a national fellowship program offered in large cities throughout the United States. During their one-year fellowships, students design and implement a community service project involving direct service to the underserved in the Houston/Galveston area.
