The sport combines running and cycling, and the event, the Webster Bicycle Duathlon, featured two, 2-mile runs bracketing an 11.5-mile bike race.Dana Lyons of The Woodlands won both the overall duathlon and the cycling portion. Local competitors scored a number of age-group wins, including a first-place age-group finish by UTMB’s Jason Vertrees.
