The facility, an ambulatory specialty center, will provide outpatient services such as imaging, CT scans, MRI, cardiac treatment and infectious disease treatment, said Dr. Dean Kinsey, head of the project and UTMB’s vice-dean for clinical programs and planning. Dr. Valerie Parisi, dean of the school of medicine, gave a presentation at the Economic Development Corporation’s December meeting. UTMB’s goal is to enhance access to affordable, high-quality care for League City’s growing population, Parisi said in her presentation.
